Hemel Hempstead () is a town in the Dacorum district in Hertfordshire, England, northwest of London, which is part of the Greater London Urban Area. The population at the 2011 census was 97,500. Alexander "Sandy" Mayer (born April 5, 1952) is a former tennis player from the United States. He won twelve titles in singles and twenty-four titles in doubles in his professional career, and was part of the winning tennis squad at Stanford University in 1973. Career Mayer was born in Flushing, New York. He entered Stanford University in 1970. In 1972, Mayer and Roscoe Tanner won the NCAA doubles championship, and the Stanford team finished second in the NCAA tournament, behind Trinity University. Gustavo Tiberti (born 11 December 1959) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Tiberti defeated American qualifier Charles Strode in the opening round of the 1982 French Open. In the second round he met Damir Keretić, who he had beaten two weeks earlier in Florence, but on this occasion proved too strong for Tiberti in a five setter. Jörgen Windahl (born 12 March 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. Career Windahl was the Boys' Singles Champion at the 1981 Australian Open, the first Swede to win the junior title. He defeated Pat Cash in the final. In Wimbledon later that year, he played in both the men's doubles and singles, but wasn't able to make it past the first round in either. He lost to Ángel Giménez in the singles and with his partner Robert Booth was defeated in five set by Scott McCain and Steve Meister in the doubles. As a singles player he reached the quarter-finals at Metz in 1986 and was a semi-finalist in Madrid the following year.
