Gustavo Barros Schelotto
Gustavo Barros Schelotto (born 4 May 1973) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was the assistant manager of LA Galaxy. Playing career Born in La Plata, Barros Schelotto came through the youth system at Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata with his twin brother Guillermo. Gustavo made his Primera debut against Club Atlético Vélez Sársfield on 4 October 1992. They helped the team to win the ''Copa Centenario'' (the AFA Centenary Cup) in 1993. In 1996, Guillermo was signed by Argentine giants Boca Juniors and Gustavo followed him there in 1997. He was part of 3 national leagues winning squads and helped the team to win the 2000 Libertadores Cup and the Copa Intercontinental later that year. Bautista Barros Schelotto (born 13 January 2000) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Gimnasia La Plata. Career Barros Schelotto joined the Gimnasia y Esgrima youth system at the age of six. He made his reserves debut on 7 August 2017 against Chacarita Juniors under Leandro Martini. Martini later, as joint first-team manager alongside Mariano Messera, promoted Barros Schelotto into the senior squad in early January 2021. He was initially selected on the substitute's bench for Copa de la Liga Profesional matches with San Lorenzo, Unión Santa Fe and Atlético Tucumán. Juan Cataldi (born 17 December 1998) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Greek Super League 2 club Kalamata. He played his first match in the first division in the Argentine cup and then played matches in the same cup and in the local tournament. He was part of the team who played the final game against Rosario Central. When he was playing in Bolivar, he played in Copa Libertadores against Palmeiras and another two games in the same Cup. Guillermo Barros Schelotto (; born 4 May 1973) is an Argentine football manager and former forward who currently manages the Paraguay national team. Barros Schelotto played 16 years of his professional career in the Argentine Primera División (6 with Gimnasia La Plata and 10 with Boca Juniors). With these two teams, he won a total 17 official titles (one with Gimnasia and 16 with Boca). In 2007, Barros Schelotto left Boca Juniors for Columbus Crew in the Major League Soccer, his first move outside his native country. The USL First Division (usually referred to as USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the United States and Canada from 2005 to 2010.
