Gustaf Kjellvander
Jan Gustaf Lennart Kjellvander (25 April 1980 – 18 June 2011) was a Swedish singer-songwriter. Before starting the Swedish outfit The Fine Arts Showcase he had two bands, ''Sideshow Bob'' and ''Songs of Soil'' (which also featured Gustaf's eldest brother Christian and future The Fine Arts Showcase Guitarist/Multi-instrumentalist Dan Englund). Gustaf was born in Sweden but grew up outside of Seattle. After 10 years in the states his family returned to Sweden where Gustaf started writing music. He started his recording career fronting the cult band Sideshow Bob (1996–1998) before moving onto Songs of Soil (2000–2001) and finally The Fine Arts Showcase in 2003. Kjellvander made guest appearances on Scandinavian records by The Radio Dept. The Radio Dept. is a Swedish dream pop band from Lund. The Radio Dept
The Radio Dept. is a Swedish dream pop band from Lund. History In 1995, schoolmates Elin Almered and Johan Duncanson started a band which they named after a gas-station-turned-radio-repair-shop called "Radioavdelningen" (Swedish language, Swedish for The Radio Department). However, Almered and Duncanson soon stopped playing music together, putting the outfit on hiatus. Three years later, in 1998, Duncanson started making music again but now with Martin Larsson and they decided to adopt the same name. In 2001, Larsson's then girlfriend Lisa Carlberg joined the group on bass, followed by Per Blomgren on drums and Daniel Tjäder on keyboards. Later in 2001, the Radio Dept. sent recordings to music magazine ''Sonic'', receiving a positive review and being featured on the free CD sampler that came with the magazine. David & The Citizens
David & the Citizens was a Swedish rock band formed in 1999 in Skåne. In 2022 David moved back to Sweden to pursue happiness in doing what he loves most (composing and creating music). History The band was created in 1999 by the singer and songwriter David Fridlund. With a couple of already-recorded songs he moved from Stockholm to Malmö. In a few weeks he had managed to form the band together with Mikael Carlsson, Jenny Wilson, and Karl-Jonas Winqvist, and perform with the band at the now-closed "Den blinda åsnan" (the Blind Donkey). The same year the band played at the Hultsfred festival and the Emmaboda festival. Jenny and Karl-Jonas left the band to focus whole-heartedly at their band First Floor Power in Stockholm, which led to Alexander Madsen, Conny Fridh and later also Magnus Bjerkert joining the band.
