Gurazala revenue division is an administrative division in the Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the three revenue divisions in the district, along with Sattenapalli and Narasaraopet formed in 2013 with nine mandals. On 4 April 2022, it has been restructured to contain ten mandals. Macherla mandal is one of the 28 mandals in the Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is under the administration of Gurazala revenue division and the headquarters are located at Macherla. Census Of India
The decennial Census of India has been conducted 16 times, as of 2021. While it has been undertaken every 10 years, beginning in 1872 under British Viceroy Lord Mayo, the first complete census was taken in 1881.
