Gulshan-Baridhara Lake
Gulshan Lake is a lake in Dhaka, Bangladesh, that borders Gulshan Thana, Shahjadpur, and Baridhara Diplomatic Zone. History In June 2015 Bangladesh High Court ordered the government to free portions of Gulshan lake that had been encroached upon. Since the July 2016 Dhaka attack, all boats have been removed from the lake. The government announced plans to introduce water taxis in the lake. Gulshan ( bn, গুলশান) is a thana situated in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is an affluent residential and business neighbourhood; and is now home to a number of the city's restaurants, shopping centres, schools, banks, members' clubs and hosts the majority of embassies and high commissions in Bangladesh.
