James "Guzza" Gullen (born 15 October 1989) is an English racing cyclist from Yorkshire who rides for . Career Gullen began his racing career in his native Yorkshire, however he often credits his success to the brutal conditions at the famed Salt Ayre World Champs in Lancashire. Gullen has a host of victories to his name including GC wins in the Tour of the North and notable National B races. James’ most famed discipline is undoubtedly the Time Trial, with numerous victories and strong placings at national events. Gullen truly carved his name into the Mount Rushmore of cycling history by riding an 18.16 10 mile TT, an achievement which at the time was the 5th fastest ever. Augusta Stowe-Gullen
Ann Augusta Stowe-Gullen (July 27, 1857 – September 25, 1943), was a Canadian medical doctor, lecturer and suffragist. She was born in Mount Pleasant, Ontario as the daughter of Emily Howard Stowe and John Fiuscia Michael Heward Stowe. A plaque regarding her work can be found in Brant County, Ontario. Medical career She is best known for being the first woman to graduate from a Canadian medical school (Faculty of Medicine at Victoria College, Cobourg) in 1883. This made Emily and Augusta the first mother-daughter medical team in Canada. Her appeal to Dr. Barrett and other medical people led to the establishment of the Ontario Medical College for Women. She also had a notable career teaching medical topics at the Ontario Medical College for Women. Ravensburg is a ''Landkreis'' (district) in the southeast of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neighboring districts are (from southwest clockwise) Bodensee, Sigmaringen and Biberach, the Bavarian urban district Memmingen and the districts Unterallgäu, Oberallgäu and Lindau. History The district dates back to the ''Oberamt Ravensburg'', which was created in 1810 when the previously free imperial city Ravensburg and the surrounding area became part of Württemberg. In 1938 the Oberamt was converted into a district and most of the ''Oberamt Waldsee'' was merged into the new district. In 1973 the district Wangen was merged into the district, together with a few municipalities from the district Saulgau, Überlingen and Biberach. Gulen
is a municipality in the southwestern part of Vestland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative center of the municipality is the village of Eivindvik. Other villages in Gulen include Brekke, Byrknes, Dalsøyra, Dingja, Instefjord, Mjømna, Rutledal, and Ytre Oppedal. The municipality of Gulen sits to the south of the Sognefjorden and it surrounds the Gulafjorden, which is considered to be the place where Norway's west-coastal Vikings met for the Gulating, a governing body. The area along the Gulafjorden called ''Flolid'' (just east of the village of Eivindvik) is now a national historic place, where an open-air theater and annual summer play commemorates the Vikings who gathered there 1000 years ago to accept Christianity.
