Guido Reybrouck (born 25 December 1941 in Bruges) is a Belgian former road bicycle racer. He is an older brother of Wilfried Reybrouck and the cousin of Gustave Danneels. Belgian National Road Race Championships
The Belgian National Road Race Championship is a cycling race which decides who will become Belgian national champion for the year to come. The record for most wins is currently held by one of the most successful Belgian sprinters, Tom Steels, who managed to take four road championship titles. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey, which is black, yellow and red, like the national flag. These colours can be worn by the rider at other road racing events to show their status as national champion. The Tour of Belgium ( nl, Ronde van België; french: Tour de Belgique) is a five-day bicycle race which is held annually in Belgium, and is part of the UCI ProSeries. It was held annually between 1908 and 1981, except during both world wars. Between 1982 and 1990 several races were not organised and none at all from 1991 to 2001. From 2002 onwards the race has again become an annual fixture on the cycling calendar. Following the start of the UCI ProTour in 2005 it looked like the race would merge with the Eneco Tour; however this did not happen and it became part of the UCI Europe Tour competition. Winners Twelve riders have managed to win the Tour of Belgium more than once. Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne
Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne is an annual single-day road cycling race in Belgium. It is held one day after Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, on the last Sunday of February or the first of March, and completes the opening weekend of the Belgian cycling season. It is ranked a 1.HC event of the UCI Europe Tour. Tom Boonen holds the most wins with three victories. History Early editions First held in 1946, the race was run from Kuurne, a small town known for its textile industry, to the Belgian capital of Brussels and back. In the 1950s it served as the opening race of the Belgian cycling season. When Brussels was becoming inaccessible for a cycling event in the late 1960s, the race was rerouted towards the Flemish Ardennes and renamed "Omloop der beide Vlaanderen" ''("Circuit of both Flanders")''. Züri-Metzgete (Zürich German; en, Championship of Zürich; german: Meisterschaft von Zürich) was a European Classic cycle race held annually in Zürich, Switzerland, and continued as a non-professional mass participation event from 2007 until 2014. Gustave Danneels (Loos-en-Gohelle, France, 6 September 1913 – Knokke, 13 April 1976) was a Belgian professional road bicycle racer. He is known for bronze medals in the 1934 and the 1935 UCI Road World Championships and his victories in Paris–Tours. When winning the 1936 edition of Paris-Tours Danneels was awarded the Ruban Jaune for recording the fastest time in a professional race. Wilfried Reybrouck
Wilfried Reybrouck (born 27 January 1953 in Bruges) is a former Belgian cyclist. He is the brother of Guido Reybrouck and the nephew of Gustave Danneels, both former cyclists. In 1974, as his first year as a professional, Reybrouck attacked on the first stage of the Giro d'Italia with 400 meters to go and won the stage.
