Guido Giacomelli
Guido Giacomelli (born September 5, 1980) is an Italian ski mountaineer. Giacomelli was born in Sondalo. He started ski mountaineering in 1995 and competed first in the Pierra Menta race in 1998. He has been member of the national team since 2002. He has held the course record of the Mountain Attack race since 2006 and was member of the Patrouille des Glaciers record team of 2006. Giacomelli enjoys also alpine skiing, alpine and cross-country skiing. Sondalo (''Sondel'' in Valtellinese dialect) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan and about northeast of Sondrio. Jean Pellissier (30 July 1972 – 27 October 2023) was an Italian ski mountaineer, mountain runner, and sky runner. Career Pellissier started ski mountaineering in 1997 and competed first in the Mezzalama Trophy race in the same year. He has been member of the national team since 2002. Since finishing his professional career he ran a mountain equipment store in Martigny. Death Jean Pellissier died on 27 October 2023, at the age of 51. The Sellaronda is the ski circuit around the Sella group in Northern Italy. The Sella massif lies between the four Ladin valleys of Badia, Gherdëina, Fascia, and Fodom and is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. The Adamello Ski Raid is an annual ski mountaineering competition at the Italian Tonale Pass declared as the final race of the European Cup of Ski Mountaineering by the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions (ISMC). Hansjörg Lunger (born 4 September 1964) is an Italian ski mountaineer. Lunger was born in Karneid. He started ski mountaineering in 1985, competed first in 2003 and was member of the national team after 2006.
