Joaquim Pedro De Andrade
Joaquim Pedro de Andrade (May 25, 1932 – September 10, 1988) was a Brazilian film director and screenwriter. He was a member of the Cinema Novo movement in Brazil. Andrade is best known for his 1969 film '' Macunaíma'', based loosely on the novel of the same title by Mário de Andrade. Dalton Trevisan
Dalton Jérson Trevisan (born 14 June 1925) is a Brazilian author of short stories. He has been described as an "acclaimed short-story chronicler of lower-class mores and popular dramas." Trevisan won the 2012 Prémio Camões, the leading Portuguese-language author prize, valued at . His short stories are inspired in the daily life of his home city of Curitiba, though featuring characters and situations of universal meaning. His extremely concise and refined tales have been called "Haikus in prose". They are often based on dialogue, using a popular language, and underline the torturing and absurd aspects of everyday life. Often brutal, his narratives can be considered the reverse of moral tales, exposing a culture of perversion and violence underlying middle class hypocrisy. Carmen Silva
Carmen Silva (April 5, 1916 – April 21, 2008), who was often credited as Carmem Silva, was a Brazilian television, stage and film actress. She was best known in recent years for her role on the Brazilian telenovela, ''Mulheres Apaixonadas'' in which she played Flora de Souza Duarte, the wife of Leopoldo Duarte (Oswaldo Louzada). ''Mulheres Apaixonadas'' was created by Manoel Carlos. Biography Silva was born Maria Amália Feijó in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on April 5, 1916. Oswaldo Louzada
Oswaldo Louzada (Rio de Janeiro, 12 April 1912 — Rio de Janeiro, 22 February 2008) was a Brazilian actor. He was also known as Louzadinha. Louzada was born in Rio de Janeiro on April 12, 1912. He began working on the Radio Panamericana radio drama, under the direction of Oduvaldo Viana in 1944. Louzada also filmed two Brazilian movies in 1944, '' Gente Honesta'' and '' É Proibido Sonhar''.
