Guangyuan
Guangyuan () is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, China, bordering the provinces of Shaanxi to the northeast and Gansu to the northwest. The city has a population of 2,305,657 as of the 2020 census. Located roughly between the provincial capitals Chengdu, Lanzhou, Xi'an and Chongqing municipality, it is considered the northern gateway to Sichuan. It is an ancient city, notable for its relics and tombs. History Formerly known as Lizhou (, or Li prefecture), Guangyuan was the birthplace of Wu Zetian, the only woman in Chinese history to bear the title Empress Regent. On May 12, 2008 a magnitude 7.9 earthquake occurred. 4,822 people were killed, 28,245 injured, and 125 missing in the city as of June 7, 2008. Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (formerly Shenzhen Huangtian Airport) is the airport serving Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It is located on the east bank of the Pearl River near Huangtian and Fuyong villages in Bao'an District, and is northwest of the city centre. It is a hub for Shenzhen Airlines and Shenzhen Donghai Airlines and for cargo airline SF Airlines, and a focus city for China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines. Nanjing Lukou International Airport is the main airport serving Nanjing (the capital of Jiangsu Province) and a major airport serving the Yangtze River Delta area. Taiyuan Wusu International Airport is an airport serving Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province, China. It is the largest airport in Shanxi and is located about southeast of downtown Taiyuan. Nanning Wuxu International Airport is an airport serving Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Autonomous Region, China. It is located south-west of the centre of the city. Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is the airport serving Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, China. The airport is located approximately northeast of the city center and immediately to the north of the Yaoqiang Subdistrict () after which the airport is named. By road, the airport is connected to the Jinan Ring (), Beijing–Shanghai, and Qingdao–Yinchuan Expressways.
