Gräddö
Gräddö is a locality in Rådmansö parish in Norrtälje Municipality in Roslagen. History Gräddö was first mentioned in documents in 1547. In 1739, the Swedish troops intended to be deployed in the War of the Hats embarked from here. In August 1809, the Swedish expeditionary force sailed from Gräddö to Ratan in Västerbotten to stop the Russian army from invading. At the end of the 19th century, Gräddö became a popular tourist destination and a number of towered summer houses were built in the area. Several guest houses were also started, Sjömans, Söderbergs, Strands, Skogshyddan, Ida Bergströms and Björkö örn. Gräddö also got a hot bath house, which, however, was moved to Gräddö-Asken in 1920. In 1933 Gräddö mission house was moved to its current location, after having previously been built in 1868 at Nabbo. The shipyard at Gräddö was founded in 1924. Norrtälje Municipality
Norrtälje Municipality (''Norrtälje kommun'') is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Norrtälje. It is the largest and northernmost municipality of Stockholm County and was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of several former municipalities. There are 25 original local government units (as of 1863) combined in the present municipality. Many of the houses in Norrtälje municipality are summer cottages, only inhabited during summertime. An urban area or () in Sweden has a minimum of 200 inhabitants and may be a city, town or larger village. It is a purely statistical concept, not defined by any municipal or county boundaries. Larger urban areas synonymous with cities or towns ( sv, stad for both terms) for statistical purposes have a minimum of 10,000 inhabitants.. The same statistical definition is also used for urban areas in the other Nordic countries. Kapellskär () is a port about north of Stockholm, in Sweden. It is located by the Baltic Sea, in Norrtälje Municipality, Stockholm County. Services The port is served by frequent passenger ferry services to Mariehamn, Åland, Finland, operated by Viking Line, with three services per day and direction during peak season. There are also services to Naantali in mainland Finland operated by Finnlink, and to Paldiski in Estonia operated by Tallink and DFDS DFDS is a Danish international shipping and logistics company. Åboland ( fi, Turunmaa) is a sub-region in the archipelago of the Southwest Finland region in south-western Finland. Åboland and Turunmaa are also informal names of the region, but in this context Särkisalo ( sv, Finby) is normally included and in the Finnish name Turunmaa also the northern Finnish-speaking part of the archipelago. Whether e.g. Kaarina should be included is unclear. Historically also the inland was included. Korpo
Korpo (; fi, Korppoo ) is an island located in the Turku archipelago. It is a former municipality of Finland. On 1 January 2009, it was consolidated with Houtskär, Iniö, Nagu and Pargas to form the new town of Väståboland. As of 1 January 2012 Väståboland was renamed Pargas (Parainen in Finnish), which is also the name of a town on one of the islands, which has proven somewhat confusing for tourists and visitors to the area. The climate in Korpo is somewhat different from the mainland's climate. It typically has cooler summers than the mainland, but the winters are also less harsh. Uppland
Uppland () is a historical province or ' on the eastern coast of Sweden, just north of Stockholm, the capital. It borders Södermanland, Västmanland and Gästrikland.
