Gräbersberg Tower
The Gräbersberg, at , the highest point in the western Westerwald, a low mountain range in central Germany whose western region extends from the Nister river in the east to the Rhine in the west. On the slopes of the Gräbersberg lies the village of Alpenrod, part of the collective municipality of Hachenburg. South of the hill is the protected area of the Westerwald Lake District and village of Lochum. Hachenburg
Hachenburg is a town in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Geography The town lies in the Westerwald between Koblenz and Siegen, roughly 10 km west of Bad Marienberg on the river Nister. Hachenburg is the administrative seat of the ''Verbandsgemeinde'' of Hachenburg, a kind of collective municipality (See ''Verbandsgemeinde''). History The castle and the town The castle (''Schloss''), former seat of the Counts of Sayn, was founded about 1180 by Count Heinrich II of Sayn. Building was finished in 1212 under Count Heinrich III, the founder's son, who was also mentioned as the town's and the castle's first owner. E-Plus
E-Plus was a mobile telecommunications operator in Germany. With more than 25 million subscribers, E-Plus was the third largest mobile operator in Germany, until the takeover from Telefónica Germany in October, 2014. Ownership E-Plus was owned by Netherlands, Dutch telecommunications operator KPN since 2002. In July 2013, Telefónica Germany announced a planned takeover. The deal was approved by KPN shareholders in October 2013. The merger was delayed because of concerns by the European Commission on reduced competition in the German mobile market. Lochum is an ''Ortsgemeinde'' – a community belonging to a ''Verbandsgemeinde'' – in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The Westerwald Lakes () lie within the eponymous Westerwald Lake District (''Westerwälder Seenplatte'') in the Westerwald forest within the town quarters of Hachenburg, Westerburg, Montabaur and Dierdorf in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Westerwald
The Westerwald (; literally 'Western forest') is a low mountain range on the right bank of the river Rhine in the States of Germany, German federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia.
