The Gruppo Sportivo Forestale was the former sport section of the Italian forestry, fishery and environment police force, State Forestry Corps. History Founded in 1955, it has now been integrated since 1 January 2017 into the Sports Group of the Carabinieri (Centro Sportivo Carabinieri). Chiara Cainero
Chiara Cainero (born 24 March 1978) is an Italian sport shooter who won a gold medal in Skeet at the 2008 Summer Olympics. At the age of 41 she qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Biography Cainero has competed at three Olympic Games, becoming the first Italian woman to win gold in skeet shooting at the Beijing Olympics. Sabina Valbusa
Sabina Valbusa (born 21 January 1972 in Verona) is an Italian cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier who competed from 1993 to 2010. Biography Competing in five Winter Olympics, she earned a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Her best individual finish was a ninth in the 5 km + 5 km combined pursuit at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Valbusa earned three medals in the 4 × 5 km relay at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships (silver: FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1999, 1999, bronze :FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2001, 2001, FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2005, 2005). Maura Genovesi (born 25 May 1973 in Lucca) is an Italian sport shooter. She won a silver medal in women's sport pistol at the 2008 ISSF World Cup series in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, accumulating a score of 784.9 points. Genovesi is a member of the shooting team for Gruppo Sportivo Forestale, and is coached and trained by Aldo Andreotti. Genovesi represented Italy at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in two pistol shooting events. She placed twenty-eighth out of forty-four shooters in the women's 10 m air pistol, by one point ahead of Hungary's Zsófia Csonka from the final attempt, with a total score of 378 targets. Rowing (sport)
Rowing, sometimes called crew in the United States, is the sport of racing boats using oars. It differs from paddling sports in that rowing oars are attached to the boat using oarlocks, while paddles are not connected to the boat. Rowing is divided into two disciplines: sculling and sweep rowing. In sculling, each rower holds two oars—one in each hand, while in sweep rowing each rower holds one oar with both hands. Giovanna Trillini (born 17 May 1970 in Iesi) is an Italian Foil (fencing), foil fencing, fencer. She is a 4-time Olympic champion (3 times in the team event, 1 time individual) and she won an additional silver and two bronze medals in individual Olympic competitions. Fencing is a group of three related combat sports.
