Greyson Thunder Fletcher is an American professional free skateboarder, surfer, visual artist and actor from San Clemente, California. He starred in the HBO series John from Cincinnati and his artworks have been exhibited in New York's Gagosian Gallery. His skateboard sponsors include; Element Skateboards, Independent Truck Company, OJ Wheels and RVCA. Artworks In January 2023, Fletcher's solo showing “Skate Fast, Slam Hard” opened at Juice Magazine headquarters in Venice Beach, California. The exhibit was curated by Dibi and Herbie Fletcher and included the artist's “Death Box” sculpture and a number of large scale oil and canvas pieces. Marty Grimes
Marty Grimes (born 1962) is a goofy-footed professional American skateboarder from Los Angeles. He is one of the original Los Angeles pool rippers, riding for Dogtown and Zephyr skateboards. Grimes and his brother were the first African-American professional skateboarders, as they both went pro at the same time. Early life Grimes grew up in Midtown, Los Angeles. He went to Mar Vista Elementary, where they had a large embankment that Grimes would grow up to skate. At age 10, a family member introduced Grimes to skating. Additionally, as part of the LAUSD desegregation busing, Grimes attended Paul Revere Junior High in Pacific Palisades, which had one of the best banks in the city, a popular skate spot. Robert Kelly Slater (born February 11, 1972) is an American professional surfer, best known for being crowned World Surf League champion a record 11 times. Steve Olson is a 1970s-1980s era American professional skateboarder and contemporary artist originally from Orange County, California. In 1979, he was sponsored by Santa Cruz Skateboards, turning professional alongside of teammates Duane Peters and Steve Alba. Lonnie Toft is a 1970s era American professional skateboarder and snowboarder from Southern California who has also been extensively involved with surfing, wakeboarding and Standup paddleboarding. He was one of the first skateboarders to ride a broader, almost shoe-width boards (20cm-25cm wide). He is the inventor of the eight-wheeled skateboard and along with Gordy Lienemann created the ''G-turn'' maneuver. He is also the co-creator of the snowboard and was subsequently one of the first professional skateboarders to embrace and promote snowboarding. Toft was originally sponsored by Pepsi in the early 1970s, performing at skateboarding exhibitions across the United States.
