Luis Guzmán
Luis Guzmán (born August 28, 1956) is a Puerto Rican actor. His career spans over 40 years and includes a number of films and television series. He has appeared in the Paul Thomas Anderson films ''Boogie Nights'' (1997), ''Magnolia'' (1999) and ''Punch-Drunk Love'' (2002) and the Steven Soderbergh films ''Out of Sight'' (1998), ''The Limey'' (1999) and ''Traffic'' (2000). His other film credits include '' Q & A'' (1990), '' The Hard Way'' (1991), ''Carlito's Way'' (1993) and '' Keanu'' (2016). For his role in ''The Limey'', he received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male. The Mysterious Island
''The Mysterious Island'' (french: L'Île mystérieuse) is a novel by Jules Verne, published in 1875. The original edition, published by Hetzel, contains a number of illustrations by Jules Férat. The novel is a crossover sequel to Verne's famous '' Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas'' (1870) and '' In Search of the Castaways'' (1867–68), though its themes are vastly different from those books. An early draft of the novel, initially rejected by Verne's publisher and wholly reconceived before publication, was titled ''Shipwrecked Family: Marooned with Uncle Robinson'', seen as indicating the influence of the novels '' Robinson Crusoe'' and '' The Swiss Family Robinson''.
