Grethe Heltberg
Astrid Grethe Grouleff Heltberg (27 May 1911 – 1996) was a Danish writer. The daughter of J C Agerskov and Eva Grouleff, she was born Astrid Grethe Agerskov in Horsens and graduated from Horsens Statsskole in 1929. From 1930 to 1940, she worked as a stenographer at the Rigsdagen. In 1942, she published a collection of poetry ''Portræt af en pige''. Besides writing essays, memoirs, novels, short stories and children's books, she also published articles in newspapers, magazines and journals. From 1957 to 1972, she was a member of , the Danish writers' association. She won a number of awards over the years as well as receiving funding from the Statens Kunstfond. She was also awarded the Tagea Brandts Rejselegat (Travel Scholarship) in 1973. In 1934, she married Niels Heltberg. Rigsdagen () was the name of the national legislature of Denmark from 1849 to 1953. ''Rigsdagen'' was Denmark's first parliament, and it was incorporated in the Constitution of 1849. It was a bicameral legislature, consisting of two houses, the ''Folketing'' and the '' Landsting''. The distinction between the two houses was not always clear, as they had equal power. In 1953, a new constitution was approved by referendum and adopted, with the result that ''Rigsdagen'' and the ''Landsting'' were eliminated in favor of a unicameral legislature under the name of the ''Folketing''. Tagea Brandts Rejselegat
The Tagea Brandts ''Rejselegat'' (Travel Scholarship) is a Danish award to women who have made a significant contribution in science, literature or art. The grant, which is given without application, was created and endowed by Danish industrialist Vilhelm Brandt (1854–1921) in 1905 in honor of his wife, Tagea Brandt. It is awarded annually on 17 March, her birthday. The charter of 1922 provides that it shall be given to outstanding women in science, art, music, literature and theater arts (particularly in this case to actresses at the Royal Danish Theatre). The intent is for the awardee to both broaden her horizons while promoting Danish society abroad, and to benefit from vacation and rest time. The first scholarships were given in 1924; the first time the amount was DKK 10.000, in 1958 it was increased to DKK 15.000, in 1967 to 25.000, later to 50,000, and currently it is DKK 75.000, which usually is given to 2-3 women annually. Bettina Heltberg
Bettina Heltberg (born September 28, 1942) is a Danish writer and actor. The daughter of Niels Johannes Heltberg and Grethe Heltberg, she was born in Frederiksberg and grew up there. She attended acting school and later completed a degree in political science from Aarhus University in 1972. Heltberg worked as a secretary for the Danish Ministry of Culture from 1972 to 1974. She appeared in the 1962 film ''Det støver stadig''. Heltberg wrote on culture and was an editorial writer for the newspaper ''Politiken''. From 1975 to 1977, she was editor of the Social Democrat journal ''Ny Politik''. She married Svend Auken in 1966; the couple had four children. They divorced in 1993. Heltberg's autobiographical book ''Hvor der handles. Erindringsbilleder'' , published in 1996, includes a behind the scenes view of the leadership convention where Auken was defeated as party leader by Poul Nyrup Rasmussen.
