Gretchel Soltones
Grethcel Soltones (sometimes mistakenly named as Gretchel Soltones) (born September 9, 1995) is a Filipina volleyball player for the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League. Early life Grethcel Soltones was born and raised in Catmon, Cebu. Career Soltones played for San Sebastian Lady Stags in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) women's volleyball tournament and was named Most Valuable Player for during the NCAA Season 90, 91 and 92,. being also selected First Best Outside Spiker in the Season 92. She also played for the PLDT Home Ultera Ultra Fast Hitters and the Bali Pure Purest Water Defenders in the Shakey's V-League, where she was crowned the conference MVP during the 13th Season Open Conference. The San Sebastian Golden Stags (also known as SSC-R Stags) are the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball team of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos. Their 5 consecutive NCAA seniors basketball championships was the longest streak in the NCAA. The other senior varsity teams may also be referred to as the Stags. The NCAA Season 97 women's volleyball tournament started on June 11, 2022 at Paco Arena in Paco, Manila, Philippines. Only the women's tournament was held due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. The 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2018 AVC Cup for Women was the sixth edition of the Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 16 to 23 September 2018. 2015 Asian U23 Women’s Volleyball Championship
The 2015 Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship was held on 1 to 9 May 2015 in Pasig, Philippines. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament. The tournament served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship held in Ankara, Turkey which the top two ranked teams qualified for the world championship. China won the tournament and Liu Yanhan was the most valuable player. The tournament was organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation, in association with Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. Shakey's V-League 13th Season Open Conference
The Shakey's V-League 13th Season Open Conference was the 25th conference of the Shakey's V-League and the first conference for its 13th season. The conference commenced on May 22, 2016 with an opening ceremony at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan. The first games were on May 28, 2016, also at the same venue. The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. NCAA Season 92 is the 2016–17 collegiate athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines. It is hosted by the San Beda College. NCAA Season 91 is the 2015–16 collegiate athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines.
