Green Star Football Club is a Pakistani football club based in Okara, Punjab. History The club made its professional debut in the 2012 PFF League. It finished at the top of the group A of the club leg, after winning by 3–0 against Balaach from Nushki, and drawing 0–0 to Capital Development Authority. In the final group stage comprising five teams, the club finished at the end, failing to qualify for the final. In the next 2013 season, the club finished third in the group B of the club phase, losing by 2–5 to Milli Afghan, and 0–1 to Wohaib, failing to qualify for the second phase of the club leg. PFF League
The Pakistan Football Federation League ( ur, پاکستان فٹ بال فیڈریشن لیگ ; abbreviated: PFFL), also known as the 'B' Division League, is a Pakistani semi-professional league for men's association football departments and clubs which are in the Pakistan football league system, and is the country's second-tier semi-professional football competition. Contested by 18 departments and clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the top-tier Pakistan Premier League. Each season, the two top-finishing teams from the PFFL's club phase and the departmental phase are automatically promoted to the Pakistan Premier League, and the winner of the final between club phase and departmental phase is crowned as the PFF League champion. Okara, Pakistan
Okara ( Punjabi, ur, ), is the capital city of Okara District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The name Okara is derived from ''Okaan'', which is the name of a type of tree. Hafiz Wohaib Butt Memorial Football Club or simply Wohaib FC is a professional football club based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Wohaib is the first Pakistani club to participate Asian Club Championship, where it qualified in the 1992–93 edition. History The club was formed in December 1982 by former Pakistan Football Federation president and member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Hafiz Salman Butt in the memory of his younger brother Hafiz Wohaib Butt. The club participated in the 1992–93 Asian Club Championship, where they earned victories over clubs from Bahrain and Bangladesh to qualify for Group B. The PFF National Challenge Cup is an annual semi-professional knockout football competition in men's domestic Pakistani football within the Pakistan football league system. It is organized by and named after the Pakistan Football Federation. Khan Research Laboratories have won the most titles (six). The AFC President's Cup was an annual international association football competition between domestic clubs sides run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held between 2005 and 2014. The competition targeted emerging football nations, and was set below the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup competitions. Competition format Between 8 and 12 teams participated in each edition of the competition. From 2005 to 2007, 8 clubs were placed into two groups of 4 teams. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking.
