Extreme Metal
Extreme metal is a loosely defined umbrella term for a number of related heavy metal music subgenres that have developed since the early 1980s. It has been defined as a "cluster of metal subgenres characterized by sonic, verbal, and visual transgression". Backstabber Etiquette
''Backstabber Etiquette'' is the sixth album by Canadian grindcore band Fuck the Facts. The band recorded the album in 2002 at their own studio. The album was mastered by David Cain at Shark Fin Mastering in Ottawa, Ontario. This release marks the first full-length album with vocalist Mel Mongeon. The album was initially stated for a June 1 release; however, the pressing plant lost the first batch of CDs. The CD became available on June 5 at the band's CD release concert in Kingston, Ontario. There were two pressings of ''Backstabber Etiquette''. The first was 1000 copies, and the second was another 1000 copies in July 2004. Dahmer (band)
Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (; May 21, 1960 – November 28, 1994), also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, was an American serial killer and sex offender who killed and dismemberment, dismembered seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Many of his later murders involved necrophilia, human cannibalism, cannibalism, and the permanent preservation of body parts—typically all or part of the skeleton. Although he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, and a psychotic disorder, Dahmer was found to be legally Sanity, sane at his trial. He was convicted of fifteen of the sixteen homicides he had committed in Wisconsin and was sentenced to fifteen terms of life imprisonment on February 17, 1992. Twilight is light produced by sunlight scattering in the upper atmosphere, when the Sun is below the horizon, which illuminates the lower atmosphere and the Earth's surface. The word twilight can also refer to the periods of time when this illumination occurs. Relapse Records is an American independent record label based in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. It was founded by Matthew F. Jacobson in 1990. The label features many grindcore, death metal, metalcore and sludge metal artists. History The label was started by Matthew F. Jacobson in August, 1990 in his parents' basement in Aurora, Colorado. The first two releases on the label were 7-inch singles by the bands Velcro Overdose and Face of Decline, closely followed by three death metal bands that would become among the biggest on the label, Deceased, Suffocation, and Incantation. After this, Jacobson became acquainted with William Yurkiewicz Jr., who became his partner in the record label. Yurkiewicz had founded his own record label, which was soon to release albums from the bands General Surgery, Disrupt, Destroy, Misery, and Yurkiewicz's own band Exit-13. ''Stigmata-High Five'' is the seventh full-length album by the Canadian grindcore band Fuck the Facts released August 20, 2006. It is the band's first release on Relapse Records. ''Stigmata High-Five'' is also the first recording to feature Mathieu Vilandré on drums. He had joined the band as a second guitarist in 2005 and took over drumming duties after Tim Olsen was asked to leave the band. In January 2006 it was announced that ''Stigmata High-Five'' would be released on Great White North Records in May of that year. The Collection of Splits 2002-2004, which was slated for a February release, was pushed back until late May, and ended up being the final release on Great White North Records before it folded. However, early into the recording of ''Stigmata High-Five'', Relapse Records contacted the band and secured a three-album deal. ''From This Day Forward'' is a 1946 American drama film directed by John Berry, starring Joan Fontaine and Mark Stevens. Plot Army sergeant Bill Cummings ( Mark Stevens) is about to be discharged after service in World War II. He was a blue collar worker in civilian life and is seeking employment. As he fills out forms and speaks to personnel at the United States Employment Service, he thinks back on the life events that brought him to this point.
