Grandfalls-Royalty High School is a public high school located in Grandfalls, Texas (USA) and classified as a 1A school by the UIL. It is part of the Grandfalls-Royalty Independent School District located in southeast Ward County. In 2015, the school was rated " Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. Norman Lawrence Cox (September 22, 1925 – April 28, 2008) was an American football quarterback who played two seasons with the Chicago Rockets of the All-America Football Conference. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. Six-man football is a variant of gridiron football played with six players per team, instead of the standard 11 or 12. It is generally played by high schools in rural areas of the United States and Canada. History Six-man football was developed in 1934 by Stephen Epler in Chester, Nebraska, as an alternative means for small high schools to field a football team during the Great Depression. Ward County, Texas
Ward County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 11,644. The county seat is Monahans. The county was created in 1887 and organized in 1892.
