''Grandes Éxitos'' is the first greatest hits album recorded by Puerto Rican-American recording artist Chayanne. This album was released by Sony Discos on March 19, 2002 (see 2002 in music). In this album Chayanne featured three new songs, " Y Tú Te Vas", Torero A bullfighter (or matador) is a performer in the activity of bullfighting. ''Torero'' () or ''toureiro'' (), both from Latin ''taurarius'', are the Spanish and Portuguese words for bullfighter and describe all the performers in the activity ..., and "Quisiera Ser" (as well as remixes of the songs "Salomé" and "Baila Baila", and a re-recorded version of "Fiesta En América"). The album peaked at #1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Albums, becoming his first album to reach #1 in that category, and #199 on the Billboard 200. José María Cano
José Cano Andrés (born 21 February 1959) is a Spanish visual artist, musician, composer, and record producer. From 1982 to 1998, he was a member and principal composer of the Spanish pop-rock band Mecano. Since 1998, he works primarily in the visual arts. Musician José Maria Cano was born in Madrid, and gave his first concerts as a university student there. There he met Ana Torroja, who would become the lead singer in their pop band Mecano. Album history ''Chayanne'' is the first album by the singer released by CBS Columbia (now Sony Music Entretaiment) and was produced by Ronnie Foster. "Fiesta En America" and "Peligro de Amor" peaked at number four on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks chart. "Fiesta En America" ranked 49th in the 2008 recap for the '100 Greatest Songs of the 80's in Spanish' by VH1 Latin America. In 1988, the album was released in Portuguese for Brazil which included "Não Posso Mais Viver Assim", a Portuguese cover of the Italian song "L'Amore È Quando Non C'è Più", originally performed by the Italian singer Euro Cristiani in 1979. Piero Cassano (born 13 September 1948) is an Italian keyboardist, singer and composer, a founding member of the Genoan band Matia Bazar. Early career and Jet Cassano started playing the piano at a young age. In 1971 he founded the progressive rock band JET with fellow musicians Aldo Stellita and Carlo Marrale.
