Graham Filby
Graham John Filby (born 29 May 1970) is a South African professional darts player. Career Filby won three matches in reaching the final of the South African qualifier for the 2014 PDC World Championship, where he lost 9–3 against Devon Petersen. In June 2014, Filby and Petersen teamed up to represent South Africa at the World Cup of Darts. They averaged 97.40 in a doubles match 5–3 win over Germany in the first round and then beat Singapore to face the number one seeds of Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis in the quarter-finals. Petersen lost 4–3 to Taylor, meaning Filby had to win his match against Lewis to send the tie into a deciding doubles contest, but he was beaten 4–2. Filby entered PDC Qualifying School in 2015 and, despite reaching the last 32 on the first day, he could not advance past the last 128 in the last three days to fall short of earning a tour card. Beaufort West
Beaufort West (Afrikaans: ''Beaufort-Wes''; Xhosa: ''eBhofolo'') is a town in the Western Cape province in South Africa. It is the largest town in the arid Great Karoo region, and is known as the "Capital of the Karoo". It forms part of the Beaufort West Local Municipality, with 34,085 inhabitants in 2011. It is the centre of an agricultural district based mainly on sheep farming, and is a significant town and logistical support hub on the N1 national road. 2015 PDC World Cup Of Darts
The 2015 bwin World Cup of Darts was the fifth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts which took place between 11–14 June 2015 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The Netherlands pairing of Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld were the defending champions, but they were defeated in the semi-finals by Scotland's Gary Anderson and Peter Wright. England with Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis won their third title in the event by defeating Scotland's Anderson and Wright 3–2 in the final. The 2016 Betway World Cup of Darts was the sixth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place between 2–5 June 2016 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. Raymond van Barneveld (born 20 April 1967) is a Dutch professional darts player. Nicknamed Barney, although originally known as The Man, he is one of the most successful darts players in history. Van Barneveld is a five-time World Darts Champion (four-time BDO and one-time PDC), a two-time UK Open Champion and a former winner of the Las Vegas Desert Classic, the Grand Slam of Darts and the Premier League. Michael van Gerwen (; born 25 April 1989) is a Dutch professional darts player. He is currently ranked number 3 in the world, having been number 1 from 2014 to 2021. He is also a three-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2014, 2017 and 2019. Van Gerwen is regarded as one of the best players of all time.
