Graham Andrew Crawford (born 16 October 1967) is a former English cricketer. Crawford was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born in Windlesham, Surrey. Crawford represented the Surrey Cricket Board in 2 List A cricket matches against Norfolk and Cheshire in the 1999 NatWest Trophy. In his 2 List A matches, he scored 71 runs at a batting average of 35.50, with a high score of 41. With the ball he took 2 wickets at a bowling average of 15.50, with best figures of 2/31. Windlesham
Windlesham is a village in the Surrey Heath borough of Surrey, England, approximately south west of central London. Its name derives from the Windle Brook, which runs south of the village into Chobham, and the common suffix 'ham', the Old English word for 'homestead'. The civil parish of Windlesham has a population of 17,000 and includes the neighbouring villages of Bagshot and Lightwater. 1999 NatWest Trophy
The 1999 NatWest Trophy was the 19th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 4 May and 29 August 1999. The tournament was won by Gloucestershire who defeated Somerset by 50 runs in the final at Lord's. Format For the 1999 season, radical changes were made to the structure and format of the competition. Each side's innings was reduced from 60 overs per side to 50, in order to bring the county one-day game in line with the format of One Day Internationals. This in turn reduced the number of overs a bowler could bowl in an innings, down from 12 to 10. The number of teams participating was also greatly expanded. In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average. In cricket, a player's batting average is the total number of runs they have scored divided by the number of times they have been out, usually given to two decimal places. Since the number of runs a player scores and how often they get out are primarily measures of their own playing ability, and largely independent of their teammates, batting average is a good metric for an individual player's skill as a batter (although the practice of drawing comparisons between players on this basis is not without criticism).
