Graham Charlesworth
Graham Michael Charlesworth (born 15 February 1965) is an English former first-class cricketer and the coach of Oxford University Cricket Club. Charlesworth has played first-class and List A cricket for Griqualand West, Cambridge University, Impalas, and Combined Universities. Charlesworth studied for his undergraduate degree at Durham University, where he won a full palatinate for cricket. Career Charlesworth made his List A debut in October 1989 in a Nissan Shield match for Griqualand West against Western Transvaal at the Fanie du Toit Sports Complex. Charlesworth bowled 9 overs for 32 runs, and scored 36 * in the match. A month later, he made his first-class debut in a 1989/90 Castle Bowl match against Orange Free State B at Harmony Gold Mine Cricket Club A Ground. Ashow
Ashow is a small village and civil parish in the Warwick district of Warwickshire, England, about 2.5 miles (4 km) south-east of central Kenilworth. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 104, increasing slightly to 108 at the 2011 Census. The village has avoided the typical expansion of most British settlements which took place in the twentieth century. Ashow has around 51 houses and a small church, The Assumption of Our Lady, which dates from the early 12th century and has a graveyard. The village has no forms of industry or employment, although Ashow and the neighbouring hamlet of Bericote (depopulated since 1540) formerly had three mills. The village is accessible by the B4115 Coventry Road (just off the A46/A452 roundabout), and the southernmost tip of the parish lies on the River Avon. Oxford University Cricket Club (OUCC), which represents the University of Oxford, has always held first-class status since 1827 when it made its debut in the inaugural University Match between OUCC and Cambridge University Cricket Club (CUCC). It was classified as a List A team in 1973 only. Home fixtures are played at the University Parks slightly northeast of Oxford city centre. Saldanha, also known as Saldanha Bay, is a town of 21,636 people, located north of Cape Town on the northern shore of Saldanha Bay, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The Benson & Hedges Cup was a one-day cricket competition for first-class counties in England and Wales that was held from 1972 to 2002, one of cricket's longest sponsorship deals. It was the third major one-day competition established in England and Wales after the Sunday League and the Gillette Cup. Traditionally a 'big day out' for the finalist's supporters, it was the less prestigious of the two cups. It began as a 55 over a side game, but was later reduced to 50. Eastern Province Cricket Team
Eastern Province cricket team was the former team that represented the Eastern Province in domestic first-class cricket in South Africa, alongside one-day matches. Eastern Province played first-class cricket from 1893–94 to 2004–05, when the team was merged with neighbouring team Border to form the entirely professional franchise the Warriors. From 2004–05 the former provincial teams, such as Eastern Province, were allocated two CSA Provincial Competitions that they could participate in: the CSA 3-Day Cup and the CSA One-Day Cup. Although given first-class status, these competitions were to be only semi-professional and no longer represented the top level of domestic cricket in South Africa.
