Friedrich Hartmann Graf (23 August 1727 – 19 August 1795) was a German flautist and composer. Biography Graf was born 23 August 1727 in Rudolstadt. He was trained by his father Johann Graf and then served as a drummer in a Dutch army regiment where he was taken as a prisoner of war by the English. Emma Graf (October 11, 1865 – November 22, 1926) was a Swiss historian, teacher, and campaigner for women's suffrage in Switzerland. Early life and education Emma Graf was the daughter of a hardware store manager and an innkeeper. She was apprenticed as a linen maid. With the financial support of her aunt, Graf began studying to become a teacher at the pedagogical seminary in Hindelbank.
