Graeme Bell (Canadian Football)
Graeme Bell (born October 15, 1980) is a former professional Canadian football fullback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2005 by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He played CIS football for the Saskatchewan Huskies. Saskatchewan Huskies Football Team
The Saskatchewan Huskies football team represents the University of Saskatchewan in U Sports football that competes in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association conference of U Sports. The program has won the Vanier Cup national championship three times, in 1990, 1996 and 1998. The Huskies became only the second U Sports team to advance to three consecutive Vanier Cup games, after the Saint Mary's Huskies, but lost all three games from 2004-2006. The team has won the most Hardy Trophy titles in Canada West, having won a total of 21 times. The 2006 Huskies became only the third team to play in a Vanier Cup that their school was hosting, when the University of Saskatchewan hosted the 42nd Vanier Cup. 2011 CFL Draft
The 2011 CFL Draft took place on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 12:30 PM ET on TSN. 47 players were chosen from among eligible players from Canadian Universities across the country, as well as Canadian players playing in the NCAA. The Toronto Argonauts, Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats had the most draft selections with a total of seven apiece. U Sports football is the highest level of amateur play of Canadian football and operates under the auspices of U Sports (formerly Canadian Interuniversity Sport). Twenty-seven teams from Canadian universities are divided into four athletic conferences, drawing from the four regional associations of U Sports: Canada West Universities Athletic Association, Ontario University Athletics, Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec, and Atlantic University Sport. Walter Murray Collegiate, also known as WMCI, is a high school serving grades 9 to 12, located in south-eastern Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This public secondary school was established in 1961 and is supported by the infrastructure of the Nutana Suburban Centre, a part of the Nutana Suburban Development Area.
