Gradski Stadion (Bijelo Polje)
} Gradski stadion is a football stadium in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of FK Jedinstvo, FK Tekstilac and OFK Borac. The stadium holds 4,000 people. History FK Jedinstvo played home games at the location of Gradski stadion since 1945. Following promotion of FK Jedinstvo to First League of Serbia and Montenegro, the stadium was renovated in 2005, with 3,000 seats on the main stand and 1,000 seats on the other stand. Pitch and conditions The pitch measures 110 x 70 meters. The stadium didn't met UEFA criteria for European competitions. At the north side of stadium is situated indoor sports hall 'Nikoljac'. Bijelo Polje ( cnr, Бијело Поље, ) is a town in northeastern Montenegro on the Lim (river), Lim River. It has an urban population of 15,400 (2011 census). It is the administrative, economic, cultural and educational centre of northern Montenegro. Bijelo Polje is the center of Bijelo Polje Municipality (population of 46,051). It is the unofficial center of the north-eastern region of Montenegro. Bijelo Polje means 'white field' in Serbo-Croatian language, Serbo-Croatian. The club was established in 1922. History FK Jedinstvo (''FC United'') was founded in 1922, as a first football team in Bijelo Polje. During the first two decades (1922-1941), the team played mostly exhibition matches, without participation in Montenegrin Football Championship. Fudbalski klub Tekstilac (English: Football Club Tekstilac) was a Montenegrin football club based in Bijelo Polje. Their last official season was 2013-14, spent in the Montenegrin Third League. History FK Tekstilac was founded in 1963, as a team of Textile industry from Bijelo Polje. At that time, they were second team from that northern Montenegrin team, beside much successful FK Jedinstvo. Only year after foundation, FK Tekstilac gained promotion to the Montenegrin Republic League (Third rank). First significant success came in the 1973-74 season, when FK Tekstilac finished as fourth-placed team in the Republic League. In the 1979-80 season, the team finished as a runner-up, but without promotion to the Yugoslav Second League.
