Grace Bawden
Grace Bawden (born 7 October 1992) is an Australian classical crossover singer from Adelaide. She competed on the second season of '' Australia's Got Talent'' (2008) and subsequently issued her debut album, ''Gifts of Grace'' (September 2009). She portrayed Yum-Yum in a South Australian production of ''The Mikado'' (March–May 2016), which toured Australia. Background Grace Bawden grew up in Adelaide, South Australia with her mother, Matilda Bawden, and brother, Luke Bawden. Matilda has Italian and Serbian heritage. In late 2013 Bawden learnt that her father had been adopted – his birth mother is Shirley Peisley. Bawden met her new-found grandmother, Peisley, and extended family in early 2014. Peisley is an Aboriginal woman of the Ngarrindjeri nation and was a referendum campaigner in 1967, which resulted in Indigenous Australians being counted in subsequent censuses. Flower Duet
The "Flower Duet" is a duet for soprano and mezzo-soprano in the first act of Léo Delibes' opera ''Lakmé'', premiered in Paris in 1883. It is sung by the characters Lakmé, daughter of a Brahmin priest, and her servant Mallika, as they go to gather flowers by a river. The duet is frequently used in advertisements and films and is popular as a concert piece. It was adapted for the track "Aria" in the British Airways "face" advertisements of the 1980s by Yanni and Malcolm McLaren. ''La Wally'' is an opera in four acts by composer Alfredo Catalani, to a libretto by Luigi Illica, first performed at La Scala, Milan, on 20 January 1892. It is sung by Lauretta after tensions between her father Schicchi and the family of Rinuccio, the boy she loves, have reached a breaking point that threatens to separate her from Rinuccio. It provides an interlude expressing lyrical simplicity and love in contrast with the atmosphere of hypocrisy, jealousy, double-dealing, and feuding in medieval Florence. It provides the only set-piece in the through-composed opera. FIVEaa (pronounced ''Five Double A'') is Adelaide's only commercial talkback radio station. The station has a range of programs including news, sports, current affairs, social issues, football calls, gardening, lifestyle, cars, travel and health. It is owned by Nova Entertainment. History 5AA commenced service in Kent Town on 14 March 1976 on the frequency 1390 AM. It was moved to 1386 AM with the introduction of 9 kHz spacing on the AM dial in 1978. Mark Ronald Holden (born 27 April 1954) is an Australian singer, actor, TV personality, record producer, songwriter, and barrister. He was a pop star in the 1970s and had four top 20 hit singles, "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again" (May 1976), "I Wanna Make You My Lady" (September), "Last Romance" (November) and "Reach Out for the One Who Loves You" (October 1977).
