Government Of The Isle Of Man
The Council of Ministers ( gv, Coonseil ny Shirveishee; often abbreviated informally to "CoMin") is the principal executive organ of the Isle of Man Government. Its role is similar to, though not identical with, that of the Cabinet in the United Kingdom. Until 1990, its title was the Executive Council. The Executive Council, chaired by the Lieutenant Governor and including members of Tynwald, was established in 1949, and gradually thereafter became the effective government of the Island. The Isle of Man Government ( gv, Reiltys Ellan Vannin) is the government of the Isle of Man. The formal head of the Isle of Man Government is the Lieutenant Governor, the personal representative of Charles III. The executive head is the Chief Minister. Douglas, the largest town in the Isle of Man, is its capital and seat of government, where most Government offices and the parliament chambers (Tynwald) are located. The Civil Service has more than 2,000 employees and the total number of public sector employees including civil servants, teachers, nurses, police, etc. was 7,413 full time equivalent at 31 March 2019. Graham Cregeen
Graham Cregeen is a Manx politician who served as Member of the House of Keys for Arbory, Castletown & Malew in the Isle of Man until 2021. He was Minister for Justice and Home Affairs from 2020 to 2021. Political career In 2006 he was elected MHK for the former Malew and Santon constituency, and was re-elected for that constituency in 2011. Geoffrey Boot
Geoffrey Boot (born 1953) is an English-born politician who until 2021 served as a Member of the House of Keys for Glenfaba and Peel. Before moving to the Isle of Man, Boot also served as a Conservative Councillor and Mayor for Sandgate in Kent. Early life Geoffrey George Boot was born in Nottingham in 1953 and was educated in Sussex Coast College Hastings. Boot's time at college was cut short by a serious motorsport accident which left him hospitalised and forced him to leave further education. After the accident, Boot began his working career at Midland Bank before moving into surveying and estate agency work. Boot also operated a large soft fruit farm as well as holiday, golf and leisure facilities. Howard Quayle

David Ashford
David John Ashford is an independent politician in the Isle of Man. He was born in 1977 in Douglas. He has served as a Member of the House of Keys (MHK) for the Douglas North constituency since 2016. Political career Previously he had been a Borough Councillor for Douglas. In January 2018 he was appointed as Minister for Health and Social Care succeeding Kate Beecroft. Alexander John Allinson (born 1966) is an English-born Manx physician and politician who serves as an independent member of the House of Keys, representing Ramsey since 2016. Allinson serves on the Council of Ministers as the current Minister for the Treasury, having been appointed to the role in May 2022 by Alfred Cannan, the chief minister of the Isle of Man. Early life, education, and medical career Allinson was born in London in 1966. He attended from the Latymer Upper School, and studied medicine at King's College, Cambridge, graduating with a masters degree in 1991.
