Government Director Of Personnel (Norway)
The Government Director of Personnel ( no, Statens personaldirektør) is a Norwegian position in the civil service. The director leads the Department of Employer Policy within the Norwegian Ministry of Government Administration, Reform and Church Affairs. According to the Public Service Disputes Act, the sitting director is also a member of the National Wages Board. Norwegian Ministry Of Government Administration, Reform And Church Affairs
The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Government Administration, Reform and Church Affairs (FAD) ( no, Fornyings-, administrasjons- og kirkedepartementet) was a Norwegian ministry. It was established as the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform in 2006 by Stoltenberg's Second Cabinet. Its last leader was Rigmor Aasrud ( Labour). When Solberg's Cabinet assumed office in October 2013, Jan Tore Sanner took over the ministry, pending its discontinuation from 2014. On 1 January 2014 it was absorbed by Sanner's Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation. The ministry was responsible for reform work, information technology, competition policy in addition to having the main responsibility for government employees and government organisation. National Wages Board
The National Wages Board ( no, Rikslønnsnemnda) is a Norwegian body for resolving labour disputes. Its task is to perform a compulsory arbitration ( no, tvungen lønnsnemnd) when negotiations of parties in Norwegian working life (employers and employees) stall, and if the conflict (strike or lockout) has "consequences for life or health, or has other seriously damaging effects on society". The Parliament of Norway, or the Government of Norway when the Parliament is not in session, are responsible for convening the National Wages Board. Henrik Lundh
Henrik Julius Lundh (16 April 1894 – February 1985) was a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Kristiania as a son of Ragnar Lundh (1863–1924) and Aggie Olsen (1875–1946). From 1919 he was married to Ragnhild Tandberg, but she died in 1922. From 1924 he was married to Elise Caroline Aubert (1898–1972). He finished his secondary education in 1911, and enrolled in law studies. He was a journalist while studying. He graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.jur. degree in 1916, and worked as a deputy judge, junior solicitor and from 1919 secretary in the Ministry of Justice and the Police. He took the dr.juris degree in 1929 and was promoted to assistant secretary in the Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1930. Bjarne Døhlen (1904 – 1989) was a Norwegian jurist and civil servant. He graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1927, and worked as a deputy judge in Sør-Gudbrandsdal from 1928 to 1930. Nils Rustung Mugaas (1921–1992) was a Norwegian trade unionist and civil servant. He chaired Statstjenestemannskartellet from 1969 to 1974 and Statens Personaldirektorat from 1974 to 1990. Statens Personaldirektorat was abolished after 1990, but was succeeded by a department in the Ministry of Government Administration and Labour led by a Government Director of Personnel. Aetat (short for no, Arbeidsmarkedsetaten) was a Norway, Norwegian etat, government agency responsible for battling unemployment. History It had its roots in the Directorate of Labour ( no, Arbeidsdirektoratet), which was founded in 1945. Its purpose was to "prevent and remedy" unemployment in the Norwegian society. The name Aetat was taken into use in 2000, when the directorate was reorganized. Jørn Skille
Jørn Skille (11 December 1942 – 29 June 2008) was a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Oslo, and took a military education. He was an officer in the Royal Norwegian Air Force from 1962 to 1976 and worked in the Ministry of Defence from 1976. He then moved to the Ministry of Government Administration and Consumer Affairs in 1977, where he was promoted to assistant secretary in 1980. He was a deputy under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Government Administration from 1989 to 1995. From 1986 to 1989 he worked in Televerket, from 1995 to 1998 he was vice president in Arbeidsgiverforeningen NAVO and from 1999 to 2004 he worked in Statskonsult. He finished his career with four years as the Government Director of Personnel, leading an office in the Ministry of Government Administration. Siri Røine
Siri Røine (born 1957) is a Norwegian civil servant. She was born in Oslo, and took education as a dental hygienist and jurist. She has worked as assisting head negotiator in the trade union, Norwegian Nurses' Union. Later, she worked in the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise. In 2008 she was named as the new Government Director of Personnel.
