Goran Jerković (footballer, Born 1986)
Goran Jerković (born 10 November 1986) is a French former professional footballer who played as a forward. He ended his professional footballing career in 2021. Club career Jerković played in the French and Belgian lower divisions before signing a contract with Lithuainian club Žalgiris. In June 2010, during a league game against Šiauliai, he suffered serious injuries to his cruciate ligament and meniscus that put him out of action for half a year. He recovered from an injury in the 2011 season and extended his contract with Žalgiris, but soon afterwards the contract was terminated by mutual agreement. During the off-season, he moved to rival A Lyga club Tauras Tauragė. On 24 December 2011, he joined Esteghlal. He made his debut for Esteghlal against Shahrdari Yasuj in the Hazfi Cup. 2012 Hazfi Cup Final
The 2012 Hazfi Cup Final was the 25th edition of the Hazfi Cup since 1975. The match between Esteghlal and Shahin Bushehr took place on 15 March 2012 at the Hafezieh Stadium. Esteghlal beat Shahin Bushehr 4-1 on penalties and qualified for the 2013 AFC Champions League. Format The rules for the final was exactly the different as the one for the previous knockout rounds. The tie was contested over one legs. If the teams could still not be separated, then extra time would have been played with a penalty shootout (taking place if the teams were still level after that). Both teams have agreed Hafezieh Stadium in Shiraz as the final venue but it was announced that because of Hafezieh's ground qualify in winter, the final match will be transferred to the newly established Ghadir Stadium in Ahvaz. The 2012 AFC Champions League was the 31st edition of the top-level Asian club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 10th under the current AFC Champions League title. Al-Rayyan Sports Club () is a Qatari multi-sports club fielding teams in a number of sports such as football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis, and swimming. Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The A Lyga is the top division of professional football in Lithuania. The A Lyga is an abbreviation of Aukščiausia lyga meaning Highest League. It is organized by Lithuanian Football Federation LFF ( lt, Lietuvos Futbolo Federacija).
