Google Hangout
Google Hangouts is a discontinued Cross-platform software, cross-platform instant messaging service developed by Google. It originally was a feature of Google+, becoming a standalone product in 2013, when Google also began integrating features from Google+ Messenger and Google Talk into Hangouts. Google then began integrating features of Google Voice, its Voice over IP, Internet telephony product, into Hangouts, stating that Hangouts was designed to be "the future" of Voice. In 2017, Google began developing two separate enterprise communication products: Google Meet and Google Chat, as a part of its Google Workspace office suite. Google began transitioning Workspace users from Hangouts to Meet and Chat in June 2020. Android Lollipop (code name, codenamed Android L during development) is the fifth major version of the Android (operating system), Android mobile operating system developed by Google and the 12th version of Android, spanning versions between 5.0 and 5.1.1. Unveiled on June 25, 2014 at the Google I/O 2014 conference, it became available through official Over-the-air programming, over-the-air (OTA) updates on November 12, 2014, for select devices that run distributions of Android serviced by Google (such as Google Nexus, Nexus and Google Play edition devices). YouTube Live was a 2008 event streamed live on the Internet from San Francisco and Tokyo. It was launched November 22–23, 2008. Google Duo is a proprietary voice over IP (VoIP) and videotelephony service developed by Google, available for Android, iOS and web browsers. It lets users make and receive one-to-one and group audio and video calls with other Duo users in high definition, using end-to-end encryption by default. Google Allo was an instant messaging mobile app by Google for the Android (operating system), Android and iOS mobile operating systems, with a web client available on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera (web browser), Opera. It closed on March 12, 2019. The app used phone numbers as identifiers, allowing users to exchange messages, files, voice notes, and images.
