Good Morning Australia (or ''GMA''), also known as GMA with Bert Newton, originally titled ''The Morning Show'', was an Australian breakfast television variety program on Network Ten hosted by Bert Newton between 20 January 1992 and 16 December 2005 featuring regular segments and celebrity guests The program aired from 9:00am – 11:00am (9:00am – 11:30am for most of its run). The show was a lead in to the 11:30 News. Program history Good Morning Australia (GMA) debuted on Network Ten on 20 January 1992 with the title ''The Morning Show'', changing its name the following year from 1 February 1993 to ''Good Morning after the breakfast news program with the same name on the same network had previously aired between 1981 and December 1992. Rhonda Suzanne Burchmore OAM (born 15 May 1960) is an Australian entertainer. Career Burchmore appeared as Kate in the 1982 film, '' The Pirate Movie''. Burchmore gave her first Australian theatre performance in the 1988 production of '' Sugar Babies'' opposite Garry McDonald and Broadway performer Eddie Bracken. Later that year, she had a role in the West End production of ''Sugar Babies'' opposite Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller. The Seekers
The Seekers were an Australian folk-influenced pop quartet, originally formed in Melbourne in 1962. They were the first Australian pop music group to achieve major chart and sales success in the United Kingdom and the United States. They were especially popular during the 1960s with their best-known configuration of Judith Durham on vocals, piano and tambourine; Athol Guy on double bass and vocals; Keith Potger on twelve-string guitar, banjo and vocals; and Bruce Woodley on guitar, mandolin, banjo and vocals. John Gregory Foreman OAM (born 24 April 1972) is an Australian musician and television personality. ''9am with David & Kim'' is an Australian morning show which premiered on Monday 30 January 2006 on Network Ten. It aired live from 9am - 11am weekdays, and was hosted by musician and former '' Getaway'' reporter David Reyne and former ''National Nine News'' presenter and journalist Kim Watkins. Fill in presenters have included Ann-Maree Biggar, Christi Malthouse, Corinne Grant, Kathryn Robinson, Stephen Quartermain and music mogul Ian Dickson. Maria Francesia Anna Venuti (born 7 March 1941) is an Australian actress, entertainer and author, who has appeared in numerous stage, television shows and film productions, over 50 years.
