''Good Guys'' is the second studio album by American country music singer Bucky Covington. It was released on September 11, 2012. via E1 Music. The album includes the singles "I Want My Life Back", "Gotta Be Somebody" (a Nickelback cover), and "A Father's Love (The Only Way He Knew How)", all of which Covington released for the defunct Lyric Street Records between 2009 and 2010. "I Wanna Be That Feeling" was promoted as the album's official lead single by E1 Music, and "Drinking Side of Country" was released as the follow-up. Critical reception Giving it 4 out of 5 stars, Tammy Ragusa of ''Country Weekly'' said that Covington "sounds so at ease on every track". Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic rated it 2.5 stars out of 5, criticizing it for having "numerous awkward country-pop attempts". Bucky Covington
William Joel "Bucky" Covington III (born November 8, 1977) is an American country music singer. He placed eighth on the 5th season of the Fox Network's talent competition series ''American Idol''. In December 2006, he signed a recording contract with Lyric Street Records. His self-titled debut album, produced by Dale Oliver and Mark Miller of the band Sawyer Brown, was released on April 17, 2007. The album debuted at number one on the '' Billboard'' Top Country Albums chart, and produced three hit singles on the Hot Country Songs charts: "A Different World" at number six, " It's Good to Be Us" at number eleven, and " I'll Walk" at number ten. Thomas Stevenson Douglas (born January 27, 1953) is an American country music songwriter. He has written Top 10 ''Billboard'' Country hits for John Michael Montgomery, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Collin Raye, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and others. Early life Tom Douglas was born in Atlanta, where he grew up with musical influence from his father, who sold steel by day and played the piano and ukulele at night. Daniel Adair
Daniel Patrick Adair (born February 19, 1975, in Vancouver) is a Canadian drummer. He is best known for his work with Nickelback and his previous work with 3 Doors Down. He also works with the Canadian band Suspect and the instrumental fusion band Martone. Adair often uses a quote coined by Gary Player to describe his career: "The harder you work, the luckier you get."
