To reach the park you can take line 8 on the metro to Shiguang Road. From the metro station the park is a less than 1 km; walk or take a very short taxi ride to it. Being further out the park is somewhat less crowded than Century Park, the largest park of the city. Century Park () is the biggest park in the city of Shanghai. It is situated on Jinxiu Road, in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai, nearby to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. Century Park focuses on lawns, woods, and lakes. The park was designed by the British environmental consultancy LUC and was built in four years from 1996 to 2000.
