Gong Yuzhi
Gong Yuzhi (; 26 December 1929 – 12 June 2007) was a Chinese Communist Party theorist and politician. He was a representative of the 15th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. He was a member of the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a member of the 9th Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Biography Gong was born in Xiangtan, Hunan, on 26 December 1929, while his ancestral home in Changsha County. His father Gong Yinbing was a communist revolutionary and politician. Central Committee Of The Chinese Communist Party
The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, officially the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, is a political body that comprises the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is currently composed of 205 full members and 171 alternate members (see list). Members are nominally elected once every five years by the National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. In practice, the selection process is done privately, usually through consultation of the CCP's Politburo and its corresponding Standing Committee. The "Two Whatevers" () refers to the statement that "We will resolutely uphold whatever policy decisions Chairman Mao made, and unswervingly follow whatever instructions Chairman Mao gave" (). This statement was contained in a joint editorial, entitled "Study the Documents Well and Grasp the Key Link", printed on 7 February 1977 in ''People's Daily'', the journal '' Red Flag'' and the ''PLA Daily''. Content The policy was advocated by the Chinese Communist Party chairman Hua Guofeng, Mao's successor, who had earlier ended the Cultural Revolution and arrested the Gang of Four. However, this policy proved unpopular with Deng Xiaoping and other party leaders advocating market reform. Zheng Bijian (, born 1932) is a Chinese politician and government advisor whose theories about globalism and transparency emphasize the importance of projecting soft power and peace. Zheng is recognized for coining the term "China's peaceful rise" as part of a Ministry of State Security (MSS) influence operation. Early life and education Zheng was born in Fushun County, Sichuan. He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in 1952 and two years later completed postgraduate work in political economics at the Renmin University of China.
