Golpes Bajos
Golpes Bajos was a 1980s pop group in Spain, a part of the so-called ''"Edad de Oro del Pop Español"'', i.e. "The Golden Age of Spanish Pop Music". They were active in 1982–1986, with a final reunion tour in 1997–1998. History ''Golpes Bajos'' was a pop group created in 1982 in Vigo (Pontevedra), Spain. It was initially a duo formed by Germán Coppini (the-then lead singer of Siniestro Total) and Teo Cardalda (composing music and playing various instruments). The group subsequently expanded after spring 1983 with Pablo Novoa and Luis García, who both shared with Teo the work covering multiple keyboards, bass, guitars and drums. Siniestro Total
Siniestro Total (meaning literally 'total write-off' as in the insurance term for a vehicle that is beyond repair following a motor accident) is a Galician punk rock group from Vigo, Spain. It was founded in 1981 during the cultural movement called Movida viguesa by Julián Hernández, Alberto Torrado and Miguel Costas. After many changes in personnel, current members are Julián Hernández, Javier Soto, Óscar G. Avendaño, Ángel González and Jorge Beltrán. Style Their first album, ''¿Cuándo se come aquí?'' (When do we eat?), features very short songs, with a marked punk style. In the second one, ''Siniestro Total II: El Regreso'' (Siniestro Total II: The Return), songs are essentially punk, but more instruments come to play. Germán Coppini
Germán Coppini López-Tormos (19 November 1961 – 24 December 2013) was a Spanish singer-songwriter. He is regarded as one of Spain's most influential musicians of the late 20th century as well as one of the country's best lyricists. A leading figure of the Movida Viguesa, he was a founding member of Galician bands Siniestro Total and Golpes Bajos. Coppini started his musical career in Vigo in 1980 as the lead vocalist of the group Coco y los del 1.500, alongside guitarist Miguel Costas and drummer Julián Hernández. In 1981, Costas and Hérnandez changed the name of their other group, Mari Cruz Soriano y los que Afinan su Piano, to Siniestro Total, and added Germán as a vocalist, effectively dissolving their previous band. With Siniestro Total, Coppini released the EP ''Ayudando a los enfermos,'' (1981) their debut album ''¿Cuándo se come aquí?'' (1982) and the single "Sexo chungo / Me pica un huevo" (1983). Nacho Cano
Ignacio Cano Andrés (b. Madrid, 26 February 1963), better known as Nacho Cano, is a Spanish arranger, composer, musician and record producer. He and his brother showed an interest in music in their young lives. At 5, he began to play the Spanish guitar and at 12 he started his first band called "Prisma", with Toti Arboles and Eduardo Benavente, both of whom would later make up the core of the sociocultural movement that took place in Spain after Franco's death, known as the "Movida Madrileña". After playing in several different bands in his early teens, Nacho formed Mecano with his brother José María Cano, Jose and his brother's friend Ana Torroja. At 16, Nacho wrote "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar" ("I Can’t Get Up Today"). Mecano signed their first record deal with CBS, when Nacho was 17 years old. ''Cómplices'' () is the 18th studio album by Mexican singer Luis Miguel, released on 2 May 2008 by Warner Music Latina. The record is a collaboration with Spanish musician Manuel Alejandro, who wrote and arranged the songs, and co-produced the album with Luis Miguel. Musically, it is a pop album of mostly ballads and a few uptempo tracks with lyrics emphasizing romance. Two singles were released to promote the album: " Si Tú Te Atreves" and "Te Desean".
