Goldenport Park Circuit
Goldenport Park Circuit () is a permanent circuit in Jinzhan Township, Chaoyang District, Beijing, People's Republic of China, which is located north of Beijing. designed by Australian Michael McDonough. The circuit was opened in December 2001 and the development also includes a 4X4 Course, a cinema, a motel and a trading place named as "Auto Mall" trading new and second hand cars. It held the Beijing round of China Circuit Championship (CCC) for touring cars and China Superbike Championship (CSBK). The circuit became a replacement round of the 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship season after the Curitiba round had been cancelled. The race took place the week after the round held in Ordos, which is also located in China. Formula BMW was a junior racing formula for single seater cars. It was positioned at the bottom of the motorsport career ladder alongside the longer established Formula Ford category. Like Formula Ford, it was intended to function as the young kart racing graduate's first experience of car racing. The new formula was created by BMW Motorsport in 2001, with the first of its championships being inaugurated in Germany in 2002. Sonoma Raceway (originally known as Sears Point Raceway from 1967 to 1980 and 1982 to 2002, Golden State International Raceway in 1981 and Infineon Raceway from 2002 to 2012) is a road course and dragstrip located at Sears Point in the southern Sonoma Mountains of Sonoma County, California. The 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship season was the second season of the SRO Group's FIA GT1 World Championship, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars complying with Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) GT1 regulations.
