Golden Calf (award)
The Golden Calf ( nl, Gouden Kalf) is the award of the Netherlands Film Festival, which is held annually in Utrecht. The award has been presented since 1981, originally in six categories: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Culture Prize and Honourable mention. In 2004, there were 16 award categories, mainly because in 2003 the categories Best Photography, Best Montage, Best Music, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design were added. Jeroen Willems
Jeroen Willems (; 15 November 1962 – 3 December 2012) was a Dutch Golden Calf and Louis d'Or winning film, TV, and stage actor and singer. Early life Willems was born on 15 November 1962 in Maastricht, the third child of a drama teacher and an elocutionist. Soon afterwards, the family moved to Heerlen. Willems' father died in 1978, age 52, when Jeroen was 15 years old. Willems attended the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts. Career Willems was attached to theatrical company Theatergroep Hollandia. He could be seen in ''La Musica'' (1991), the solo show ''Twee stemmen'' (from 1997 on) and ''La Musica Twee'' (2003). Mohammed Azaay (born 1 July 1976 in Tétouan, Morocco) is a Moroccan-Dutch actor. Azaay graduated from arts college Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in 2000 as actor. Together with Karim El Guennouni he has a project called "De Varkensfabriek", named after their successful 2004 performance. ''Bloed, zweet & tranen'', also known as ''Blood, Sweat & Tears'', is a Dutch biographical film about the late Dutch singer André Hazes. The movie, named after Hazes' song '' Bloed, zweet en tranen'', was directed by Diederick Koopal and released in 2015.
