''GoldenEye'' is a 1996 pinball machine released by Sega Pinball. It is based on the 1995 James Bond film of the same name. Gameplay There are 5 modes which can be started at the Mode Start Lane. You cannot start one mode while in another. ''GoldenEye'' is a 1995 spy film, the seventeenth in the ''James Bond'' series produced by Eon Productions, and the first to star Pierce Brosnan as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. Sega re-entered the market when it took over Data East's pinball division in 1994. They produced machines under the name Sega Pinball Inc. for 5 years before leaving the market again in 1999. Pinball games are a family of games in which a ball is propelled into a specially designed table where it bounces off various obstacles, scoring points either en route or when it comes to rest.
