Marika Gombitová
Marika Gombitová (; born 12 September 1956) is a Slovak singer-songwriter and musician. Once a member of Modus (band), Modus, Gombitová started to gain early acclaim as a former female vocalist of the group. Nevertheless, she gradually developed her publicity, public image as a solo artist, making Boľavé námestie, own debut on gramophone record, short play in 1977. Subsequently, after topping the local record chart, music charts with "Študentská láska" (1978), her debut studio album, set entitled ''Dievča do dažďa'' (1979) saw its eventual results on OPUS Records. The album's lead single, lead "Vyznanie", earned several music awards; most notably at the Intervision Song Contest, 4th Intervision Song Contest held in Poland (1980). Richard Müller (singer)
Richard Müller (born 6 September 1961) is a Slovak singer, songwriter, photographer, and occasional actor. He is one of the most successful singers in both Czechia and Slovakia, where he has sold more than one million records. At the beginning of his musical career, he was a member of Pavel Daněk's band Burčiak and later formed his own group, Banket (band), Banket, with whom he recorded three studio albums. He launched a solo career in the early 1990s and has issued sixteen studio albums as well as several compilations and live recordings. Miroslav Žbirka
Miroslav "Miro" Žbirka (21 October 1952 – 10 November 2021) was a Slovak pop and rock singer and songwriter, widely popular in 1980s Czechoslovakia. Born in Bratislava to a Slovak father and an English mother, he sang in Slovak, English, and Czech. He sometimes recorded in London, but lived in Slovakia and since early 1990s in Prague, Czech Republic, where he died. In the late 1970s, Žbirka co-founded two Czechoslovak pop music bands, Modus and Limit. In 1982, he rose to fame by winning the annual Zlatý slavík award for the best male singer in Czechoslovakia. After the 1992 division of Czechoslovakia, he repeated this achievement in the Slovak annual Slávik Awards, coming number one in the annual end of year charts in 2002, 2004 and 2005. Ján, also credited as Janko Lehotský (born 16 April 1947) is a Slovak composer and former leader of the Modus band. Lehotský began his performing career when he was four years old, when he performed in a marionette theater. He was a freelance composer during the Velvet Revolution. In 1974 he began managing the band Modus, in which performed also Marika Gombitová and Miroslav Žbirka. He created about 20 records in his career. The composition that featured lead vocals by Janko Lehotský, Miroslav Žbirka, Marika Gombitová and Miroslav Jevčák won the Golden award at the Bratislavská lýra '77 in the contest of the Czechoslovak authors.
