José Alberto Godoy (born October 13, 1994) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates. Isabel Godoy
Isabel Selena Godoy Monárdez (born 1967) is a Qulla activist and politician in Chile. A former political prisoner during the Chilean military dictatorship, Godoy was elected in 2021 to represent the Qulla people at the Constitutional Convention. Godoy is considered an ally of 2021 Chilean presidential candidate Daniel Jadue of the Communist Party. Biography Godoy was born in 1967 to a Qulla family. At the age of 17, Godoy was assaulted by a police officer while protesting the Augusto Pinochet dictatorship and was put in prison for her social activism. Juan Godoy
Juan Godoy (1800 – 1842) was a Chilean farmer and miner who in 1832 discovered an outcrop (''reventón'') of silver south of Copiapó in Chañarcillo sparking the Chilean silver rush. He worked variously as goatherd and farmer with his mother but also as miner and woodcutter before the discovery of Chañarcillo. Godoy was very likely illiterate. Enrique Godoy Sayán (August 6, 1902 – July 15, 1984) was a Cuban business magnate and banker. He was the founder of the insurance conglomerate Godoy-Sayán Oficina Aseguradora de Cuba Insurance Company, which dominated the insurance industry in Cuba from the 1920s until 1960. He recovered his family's nobility title Marques de la Cañada Hermosa de San Bartolomé. Dagoberto Godoy Fuentealba (22 July 1893 – 8 September 1960) was a Chilean military pilot and the first person to fly over the Andes. Biography Godoy was born in Temuco, the son of Abraham Godoy and Clotilde Fuentealba. He was orphaned at the age of two and was raised by his maternal aunt Petronila y Tránsito Fuentealba. He entered the ''Escuela Militar del Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins'' military school in 1910, destined for a posting in the ''Batallón de Ferrocarrileros'' ("Railway Battalion") of the Army Engineers. Diego Armando Godoy Vázquez (born 1 April 1992) is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Millonarios. Career Godoy's career started with Paraguayan Primera División side Cerro Porteño in 2010.
