Goat Haunt
Goat Haunt is a region of Glacier National Park in Montana, United States. Goat Haunt is located at the head of Waterton lake which is fed by the Waterton River. The headwaters for the Waterton River are located South of Goat Haunt Ranger Station at unnamed lakes located slightly higher than Nashukin Lake. The Goat Haunt area shares Waterton Lake with Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada. This area is important for reinforcing the international nature of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. It also provides hiking trails that connect the United States and Canada. The region provides wildlife habitats on both sides of the border. As a largely unspoiled natural area, visitors experience an area with few facilities or amenities, but with historical importance including Waterton Townsite and mountain passes used by American Indians. Olson Mountain
Olson Mountain, also known as Mount Olson, is a 7,913-foot-elevation (2,412 m) mountain summit located in the Livingston Range, of Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana. Olson Mountain rises more than above the western shore of Waterton Lake. The mountain was named for a surveyor on the International Boundary Survey, with the name officially adopted in 1929. The nearest higher peak is Campbell Mountain, to the north, and Citadel Peaks is two miles (3.2 km) to the south. Precipitation runoff from the mountain drains into Olson Creek before it empties to Waterton Lake. Citadel Peaks
Citadel Peaks is a mountain ridge located in the Goat Haunt area of Glacier National Park, in Glacier County of the U.S. state of Montana. This arête with a row of sharp points is part of the Livingston Range, and is approximately four miles east of the Continental Divide. Neighbors include Olson Mountain, to the north, Mount Cleveland to the east, and Kootenai Peak to the south. Topographic relief is significant as Citadel Peaks rises over above Waterton Lake in less than two miles, and above Lake Janet in one mile. Precipitation runoff from the mountain drains to the south end of Waterton Lake.
