Gnosjö Municipality
Gnosjö Municipality (''Gnosjö kommun'') is a municipality in Jönköping County, southern Sweden where the town Gnosjö is seat. The Swedish local government reform of 1952 formed this municipality out if five former entities, and it has not been amalgamated with others since then. About half of the municipal population live in Gnosjö town, the rest is spread between smaller localities, and rural areas. Gnosjö is referred to as the centre of the Gnosjö region which is an area of enterprising small industries, driven by the distinctive "Gnosjö Spirit". The Gnosjö region (Swedish: ''Gnosjöregionen'') consists of the four municipalities of Sweden Gislaved, Gnosjö, Vaggeryd and Värnamo in Jönköping County in southern Sweden. High Chaparral is a Wild West theme park and post-industrial museum of cultural artifacts and collectibles, located close to Värnamo, Sweden. It opened in 1966 and was founded by Bengt Erlandsson, more commonly known as "Big Bengt". The park is located near Hillerstorp in Gnosjö Municipality and is close to E4 motorway and Swedish national road 27. Big Bengt, the founder Bengt Erlandsson was born in 1922 in Brännehylte, Småland, Sweden. His parents owned a forest farm and a saw mill. His interest in the American frontier and Wild West was born from coming from a countryside where many had emigrated to America and from the stories they told. Maria Larsson
Ingrid Maria Larsson (born 20 January 1956 in Långasjö) is Swedish politician of the Christian Democrats who has been Governor of Örebro County since May 2015, appointed by the cabinet of Stefan Löfven. She previously served as Minister for Children and the Elderly from 2010 to 2014 and as Minister for the Elderly and Public Health from 2006 to 2010. A member of the Christian Democrats, she was an MP of the Swedish Riksdag from 1998 to 2014. Following the 2014 election defeat and her defeat from the Riksdag, Larsson announced that she will leave politics and step down as deputy party leader in 2015. Career She is a trained schoolteacher, and is married with three children.
