IF Gnistan (''The Spark'' in English) is a Finnish football club from the city of Helsinki, founded in 1924. The club is currently playing in the Ykkönen, the second tier of the Finnish league system. IF Gnistan play their home matches at Mustapekka Areena. Club's home district is Oulunkylä, which locates in northern part of the capital city. The club is originally Swedish-speaking, but nowadays it is supported by Finnish-speaking majority also. The club was founded by a few Svenska Reallyceum and Åggelby Svenska Samskola students from Oulunkylä in 1924. Henrik Ölander
Henrik Ölander (born 29 October 1997) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays for Gnistan, as a left back. Career Ölander's senior career began when he was promoted to HJK's second team, Klubi 04. During the 2015–2017 seasons, Ölander played a total of 49 matches in Kakkonen, but was unable to play for HJK's first team. Ölander then moved to Veikkausliiga club, PS Kemi, for the 2018 season. Ölander made his debut in the Veikkausliiga on May 3, 2018 against VPS. He played a total of 12 league matches in the 2018 season. PS Kemi was relegated to Ykkönen at the end of the season and later went bankrupt. He then moved to RoPS, who played in the Veikkausliiga for the 2019 season. Ölander played a total of 14 league matches in the 2019 season. Ölander moved to Ykkönen club AC Oulu for the 2020 season. Samu Volotinen (born 26 August 1998) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays for IF Gnistan as a goalkeeper. Career Volotinen spent his early career in Finland with PK-35 Vantaa and VPS. In December 2018 he signed for Bosnian club Čelik Zenica. The deal was officially confirmed on 12 January 2019. On 20 February 2019 the club announced that Volotinen would not be part of the registered squad due to the Bosnian league's restrictions on the number of foreign players, and they instead planned to bring foreign players to other positions. AC Oulu (ACO) is a Finnish football club based in Oulu. Formed in 2002, the club have played two seasons in Finland's highest football league Veikkausliiga and seven seasons in the second highest league Ykkönen. ''Ykkönen'' (Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. Nelonen or IV divisioona is the fifth level in the Finnish football league system and comprises 159 teams. The IV divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Nelonen (''Number Four'' in English and ''Fyran'' in Swedish). Competition There are 159 clubs in the Nelonen, divided in 14 groups of 9 to 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club normally plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents. Musan Salama
Musan Salama (acronym MuSa) is a football club based in Pori, Finland, currently playing in the Finnish second tier Kakkonen. It was founded in 1960 in the Musa suburb of Pori. Literally, the name of the club means the ″Lightning of Musa″. Musan Salama has mostly played in the Finnish third or fourth levels. In 1999–2001 MuSa made a three-year spell to the second tier Ykkönen, but was relegated after the 2001 season. In 2016 MuSa made it to the promotion play-offs losing to the Helsinki side Gnistan on penalties. Finally, in 2018 MuSa achieved promotion back to the second tier Ykkönen by defeating Kokkola based side GBK in the finals of the promotion playoffs on penalties.
