Gloria Ha
Gloria Yat Ting Ha (born 2002) is a female international Hong Kong Chinese lawn bowler. Bowls career Ha made her debut for Hong Kong in 2015 and won a bronze medal in the fours with Angel So, Phyllis Wong and Cheryl Chan at the 2019 Asia Pacific Bowls Championships, held in the Gold Coast, Queensland. At the age of just 14 she was selected for Hong Kong at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in New Zealand. In 2022, Ha won a silver medal at the inaugural World Bowls Indoor Championships in the singles, she was defeated in the final by Julie Forrest. In 2023, she won her second national singles title. Later in 2023, she was selected as part of the team to represent Hong Kong at the 2023 World Outdoor Bowls Championship. She participated in the women's singles and the women's triples events. Asia Pacific Bowls Championships
The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships formerly the Pacific Rim Championships was a bowls, lawn bowling competition held between national bowls organisations in the Asia Pacific region. The event was inaugurated in 1985, and it was initially held every two years but then took place every four years and was a qualifying event for the World Bowls Championship, World Outdoor Bowls Championships. In 2021, the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship was officially cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. World Bowls then decided that the World Championships would take place every two years starting in 2023. Julie Forrest
Julie Forrest (born 3 November 1968) is a Scottish bowls player. Bowls career Outdoors Julie has won three World Outdoor medals, a silver medal in the fours at the 2000 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Johannesburg and two bronze medals as part of the Scottish team that competed in the Taylor Trophy. She also competed at the 1996, 2000 and 2016. She was selected to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and also won the Scottish National Bowls Championships pairs title in 1988 and triples title in 1997 bowling for Hawick. Indoors Most of her success has come indoors with her most significant wins being the two women's singles titles at the 2019 World Indoor Bowls Championship (defeating Alison Merrien in the final) and the 2020 World Indoor Bowls Championship. Kelly McKerihen (born 5 May 1986) is a Canadian International lawn bowler. Biography In 2007, McKerihen won the triples and fours bronze medals at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. She won a bronze medal in the Women's singles at the 2012 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Adelaide. Four years later in 2016, she won a bronze medal at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch in the singles. In November 2017, McKerihen was named to Canada's 2018 Commonwealth Games team. The World Bowls Indoor Championships is bowls event inaugurated in 2019 by the organisations known as World Bowls and the International Indoor Bowls Council (IIBC). It is contested annually between bowlers from national bowls organisations. The competition is the rival event to the World Bowls Tour's blue riband event called the World Indoor Bowls Championships.
