Glitterball
''Glitterball'' is a live, late night, interactive television quiz show in the United Kingdom. It was broadcast under the ITV Play branding on ITV a few nights a week from around midnight (usually), and from 1.00am on ITV2. The show launched on 19 February 2007. Both ''Glitterball'' and ''Make Your Play'' alternated their days of broadcast. ''Glitterballs final show broadcast on the morning of Sunday 30 September 2007. Overview ''Glitterball'' was created by Ludus:ETV (who also produced '' The Mint'') and produced from studios at 3SixtyMedia, Manchester. The programme was broadcast on ITV and ITV2 from Sunday to Wednesdays. The show started on 19 February 2007. ITV Play
ITV Play was a short-lived 24/7 participation television channel in the United Kingdom owned by ITV plc. The ITV Play name continued as a strand on the main ITV Network until December 2007. It was launched as a standalone channel on Freeview (taking on the slot which was previously occupied by the Men & Motors channel) on 19 April 2006 and started broadcasting on the Sky platform on 24 July 2006. The ITV Play channel was created in response to and hoping to cash in on the popularity of late night quiz shows on the ITV Network and ITV2 such as ''Quizmania'' and ''The Mint''. ITV Play also offered additional gambling services on their website. It cost at least 75p per call to participate. This charge was made even if the caller was not put through to the studio. A free entry route was available through the website. Users were restricted to 150 calls/web entries in a 24-hour period. Zoe Hardman
Zoe Kristi Hardman (born 16 November 1982) is a British television presenter and actress. She first appeared on TV in Channel 4's reality game show ''Playing It Straight'' in 2005. Career Hardman was born in Kent, England. She was a presenter on ITV's phone-in quiz show ''Glitterball''. She is heavily involved in the Entertainment and Fashion show weekly for the online entertainment syndication company ReelKandi TV. She also continues to do commercials, acting and voiceover work. In 2011, Zoe was the showbiz news reporter for an on-line channel (T5M). Last summer was also spent filming at The Ashes (Cricket) tournament for the ECB. Russell Spencer (born 1st March 1980) he is an English singer and television presenter. Make Your Play
''Make Your Play'' was a live, interactive quiz show, showing in the UK on the ITV Network, from Monday to Saturday, beginning after midnight. The show was launched on Friday 29 September 2006 on ITV and ITV Play. The prizes were greater than usually available on ITV Play (often exceeding £20,000), but as a result of this, callers are usually taken less often. In order to win money, viewers had to either call in at a cost of 75p from a BT landline, or enter through the ITV website. If they were successful, they would have been placed on hold, then transferred live to the studio if they was lucky, where they then went on to deliver their answer. ''Make Your Play'' had given over £3 million. It went over the £3 million mark on 1 July 2007, when a contestant by the name of Mr Joseph Percy said "next day". Kéllé Bryan
Kéllé Bryan (born 12 March 1975) is an English singer and actress, known as a member of girl group Eternal. In 2018, she began portraying the role of Martine Deveraux in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', a role she played until 2022. She is also part of the ''Loose Women'' panel. Early and personal life Bryan was born on 12 March 1975 in Plaistow, Greater London. Aged 11, Bryan joined the Italia Conti Academy stage school, where she completed eight years of performing arts and qualified as a dance teacher. ''Quiz Call'' was a late night/early morning phone-in quiz TV show, produced by Ostrich Media (owned by iTouch) for Five, Five US and Five Life. History Launch ''Quiz Call'' was launched as a standalone participation television channel in August 2005 on the Freeview and NTL platforms, and launched on the Sky Digital platform shortly afterwards. The show encourages viewers to enter by calling a premium-rate telephone number or for free via their website. On 22 April 2006, the channel made its début on analogue terrestrial television when it aired overnight on Five. In June 2006, ''Quiz Call'' had a slight revamp.
