Glen Drover
Glen Drover (born May 25, 1969) is a Canadian heavy metal guitarist from Ottawa, Ontario. He is best known as the former lead guitarist of Megadeth and King Diamond, along with his brother Shawn Drover who also performed with Megadeth. History Glen Drover began playing guitar as a child, and was joined at age 10 by his brother Shawn on drums. The Drover brothers formed the band Eidolon in 1993, releasing seven albums to date. King Diamond (1998–2001) In 1998, Drover joined King Diamond, completed two North American tours, and appeared on the '' House of God'' album. Christopher Alan Broderick (born March 6, 1970) is an American musician, best known as a former guitarist of the heavy metal band Megadeth. He is also formerly the lead guitarist and keyboardist for Jag Panzer, appearing on four of Jag Panzer's albums '' The Age of Mastery'', ''Thane to the Throne'' (a concept album about Shakespeare's ''Macbeth''), ''Mechanized Warfare'' and '' Casting the Stones'' before moving on to Megadeth, replacing Glen Drover. NightMare World are an English power metal band from Birmingham, England, formed in 2006. History No Regrets EP In 2007 NightMare World recorded a three-track EP at Thin Ice Stuios. It was engineered, produced and mixed by Karl Groom of Threshold and was released in early 2009. All three tracks were later reproduced entirely on the band's debut album, ''In The Fullness Of Time''. The band played a few select shows including Bloodstock 2009 promoting the EP. "Discordia" is a song by Queensrÿche vocalist Todd La Torre and former Megadeth/King Diamond guitarist Glen Drover. Writing and recording Drover and La Torre had previously shared the stage together, when Drover joined Queensrÿche during their show at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto on March 7, 2013, where they played the song "Take Hold of the Flame" from Queensrÿche's 1984 album '' The Warning'' as an encore. He is the lead singer for progressive metal band Queensrÿche, and a former lead vocalist of the bands Crimson Glory and Rising West. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, he learned to play the drums at a young age. Early life La Torre was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida in a musical family.
