The Concern was founded in 2008 by Fyodor Bondarchuk, Konstantin Ernst and Ilya Bachurin. 50% of the concern is owned by Fyodor Bondarchuk, Konstantin Ernst, Ilya Bachurin and "Uralsib" Bank, another 50% is owned by the private investor Vitaly Golovachov. Ilya Viktorovich Bachurin (in Russian: ''Илья Викторович Бачурин'') is a Russian film and TV producer, top manager at Russian film company Glavkino and music company Mosconcert. In the past he organized a number of notable Russian cultural evens such as Russian parts of Eurovision song contest, Olympic games in Russia and others. He is also particularly known as the organizer of Michael Jackson's first concert in Russia back in 1993 and as the creator of dance music radio station ''Station 106,8'' popular in 1990s. ''August Eighth'' (russian: «Август. Восьмого», translit. ''Avgust. Vosʹmogo'') is a 2012 Russian action war film about the 2008 August War. It was produced and directed by Dzhanik Fayziev. Background The film tells the story of a young single mother who must make her way to South Ossetia in order to reunite with her son whom she had sent away before the war.
