Giuseppe Ferruccio Saro
Giuseppe Ferruccio Saro (born 21 April 1951) is an Italian politician. Political career Saro served as Mayor of Martignacco from 1975 to 1985. He was subsequently Regional Councilor of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia from 1983 to 2001. From 1988 to 1992 he also was Regional assessor for Industry. From 14 January 1992 to 4 August 1993 he served as vice president of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and as assessor for Industry in the regional government led by Vinicio Turello. Since 22 March 1993 he served as Regional assessor for Labor, Cooperation and Crafts. He was chairman in the regional council and regional secretary of the Italian Socialist Party from 1985 to 1992. Subsequently he was chairman of the Forza Italia group in the regional council from 1998 to 2001. He was elected Deputy among the ranks of Forza Italia in Friuli-Giulia in the 2001 general election. The Chamber of Deputies ( it, Camera dei deputati) is the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament (the other being the Senate of the Republic). Renzo Tondo (born 7 August 1956) is an Italian politician, former President of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Early life He graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Trieste. He began his career as a hotel keeper. FVG Project
FVG Project ( it, Progetto FVG, PFVG) was a centre-right political party active in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. The party was launched in 2017 and originally led by entrepreneur Sergio Bini, Ferruccio Saro and Marco Pottino. Saro was a former member of the Italian Socialist Party, Forza Italia and The People of Freedom, while Pottino a former leader of Lega Nord Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name. The party was nonetheless frequently referred to only as "Lega" even before the rebranding, and informally as the (). The party's latest elected leader was Matteo Salvini.
